Reports that compare, email attachments, and an agent with a dial
Two weeks in one edition. Reports gain KPI tiles, click-through to the records behind any chart, and a compare to previous period option, and dashboards can be arranged and shared. Attachments on incoming email live on the thread and the timeline. A new Agent autonomy page sets how much the agent does unasked, and the forms it asks you to fill no longer dead-end.
This edition covers two weeks, September 9 to 21, so it runs longer than usual. Most of what shipped makes Ahoy tell you more about what it already knows. A report tile says how it compares with the period before. A file a customer emailed you sits on the thread in the CRM. And how much the agent does without asking is one setting you can read at a glance.
Reports that know the previous period
Reports gained a metric chart type, a single number as a tile, for the figures a sales meeting opens with. The Pipeline Review dashboard leads with open pipeline, weighted forecast, win rate, and deals closing this quarter, and you can build the same tiles for any report. Win rate and stage conversion are real percentages now, computed from the records the tile covers, so they survive drill-down, share links, and CSV export. A duration measure adds time in stage and deal age. Weighted amount, potential amount, and stage probability are available as report fields, columns, and filters as well.
Any report with a date range can compare to the previous period. Turn it on and a KPI tile shows the change against the period before, and bar and line charts draw the previous period alongside. A saved report that says last 30 days means the 30 days before today every time it runs, rather than the 30 days before the day it was saved.
Meetings, calls, and email threads are report sources now, and five Team activity templates come with them. Meetings by rep, calls by rep, emails by rep, an activity leaderboard, and untouched accounts, each with a viewer filter that narrows the chart to one person. A meeting with two attendees counts for both of them, and counts cover the records you can see.
Charts you can click into, dashboards you can arrange
Click any bar, slice, line point, or funnel step on a chart and a panel rises from the bottom listing the records behind it, with the segment named in its header. Click a row to open the record, or export the list as CSV. This works in the report builder, on a saved report, and on a dashboard tile.
An Arrange button on a dashboard lets you drag tiles into order, cycle a tile between quarter, half, and full width, and add heading and text tiles between the charts. A dashboard can be shared with a teammate to view or to edit. The Sales Overview dashboard has a Reset to defaults action, and the template catalogue grew.
Email attachments come along, and signatures listen
When an email with attachments arrives in a connected Gmail or Outlook mailbox, the attachments now come with it. They appear as chips on the message in the thread, on the email's timeline entry, in the email preview, and on a reply you are composing. Click one to download it. Whoever can read the email can open its attachments, and nobody else. This applies to email that arrives from now on.
Your signature is yours to take off a draft, too. Hover it and a Remove signature button appears, and the agent will not put it back. The redesigned preview shows the From, To, and Cc lines with the subject above a framed body, and its footer shows whether this draft carries a signature, with Remove or Add signature back beside it. Turning the signature setting off now applies to drafts you have already written.
How much the agent does on its own
The Agent guidance tab used to carry eighteen switches for what the agent may do without asking. They are now one page in Settings, Agent autonomy. A stepper sets the level, from Basics through Routine updates and Most updates to Everything it can. A ladder underneath lists what each stop unlocks, from keeping notes and linking activity, to adding contacts and advancing deals, to marking records won or lost, up to merging duplicates and changing details someone entered.
Each pipeline can sit at its own stop, and a Customize panel shows where each one stands. Every change names what it changed and offers Undo. Pausing the agent keeps your settings and makes it suggest instead of act. And a change your own agent makes no longer sends you a change notification email.
AI Actions that finish what they start
When the agent needs something from you, it asks with a form card. Those cards now keep what you typed when the agent rewrites the rest of the proposal, and a Submit button that is disabled says why. If you do not have the answer, say so and the card closes out, or hand the question to a colleague with Choose a colleague. A question that must be answered before the rest can run locks the other actions until it is.
A task the agent proposes shows as the same task card you see on a record, with due date, assignee, and status editable in place, and a stage change shows current and proposed side by side. A task the agent creates for you is assigned to you unless it names someone else, so its due-date reminder has someone to wake. And Approve waits for your last edit to save, showing a loading state until it has, so nothing you typed is left behind.
Your theme follows you
The sidebar's theme control is a Light, Dark, and System choice now, so a pinned theme can go back to following your system. The choice is saved to your account and applies on every browser and device you sign in from.
Also this week
- A meeting you marked private in Google Calendar or Outlook stays private in Ahoy, whatever the integration's default visibility, and a bulk visibility change leaves it alone
- A pipeline stage can be marked Final Stage when you create or edit a pipeline, and the agent never moves a record into a final stage without your approval
- A record's name is editable in place from the record header, for companies, deals, and custom records, and a contact's first and last name are too
- The details rail on a full-page record can be dragged wider or narrower, and keeps the width you set
- The calendar shows the tasks that are yours or unassigned, and a task assigned to someone else stays off it
- The dashboard's today section shows three tasks and a Show more button, so meetings and reminders keep their space, and a completed task drops off the dashboard
- Reminders on a deal show on the calendar for everyone on the team
- Search finds tasks now, alongside contacts, companies, and deals
- The records a proposal came from show as compact chips in its header, and collapse into a Context menu on a narrow screen
- Connecting a Gmail account imports replies that Gmail filed under Promotions or Updates along with the rest
- A note is its content now, with no title, due date, or stage of its own, and a note or task saved without a title is named from its first line
Fixes
And the quieter half: the polish that adds up across two weeks in Ahoy.
- Accepting a Grammarly suggestion in a note or an email draft replaces the words it suggested and leaves the rest of the sentence alone
- An email draft keeps your signature when you ask the agent to rewrite it
- Reply all on an email you received addresses the sender and everyone else who was on the To line, with the Cc line carried over
- Reconnecting Gmail or Outlook keeps the visibility you chose in the reconnect dialog
- A meeting stays on the calendar for everyone else when one guest is removed from the invite
- A meeting that was cancelled before it ever synced to Ahoy no longer appears in your CRM as a cancelled meeting
- Dropdowns and pickers close when you click anywhere outside them, including inside a record slideout or a Settings page
- A meeting booked through a booking page shows the answers to your custom questions as plain text on the meeting record
- Granola notes attach only to a meeting their author actually attended
- Dark mode contrast is fixed on the calendar's New task placeholder, on selected tabs, and on links and icons in the brand color
