Feature Improvement Fix

Edit right in the table, OR filters, and rules that guard your data

The headline: CRM tables now edit like a spreadsheet - click a cell, change it, done. Plus OR filter groups everywhere and validation rules the agent can write for you.

This week's releases share a theme: giving you finer control over what's in your CRM - which records you see, what gets written, and how quickly you can change it.

Edit right in the table

The headline this week: CRM tables now edit like a spreadsheet. Click a cell, change the value, and it saves in place - no opening the record, no slideout round trip. Update a stage, fix a title, correct an amount, and move on to the next row while the table stays exactly where you left it.

It is a small interaction with a big compounding effect. Most CRM edits are one-field corrections, and until now each one cost a trip into the record and back. Inline edits also go through the same permissions and validation rules as any other write - the fastest path into your data is still a guarded one.

Filter with OR, not just AND

Filters have always stacked conditions with AND. Now you can author multiple groups and combine them with OR: deals in late stages or flagged at risk, contacts in one industry or another. The builder handles adding, editing, and removing groups, and it works everywhere filters do - saved views, the pipeline board, meetings, and the reports wizard, where full OR authoring reaches your dashboards too.

Validation rules - written by you, or by the agent

You can now set conditional rules that CRM writes have to satisfy - require a close date once a deal reaches a late stage, insist on an email before a contact enters a sequence, whatever your data discipline calls for. When a write breaks a rule, the rejection is shown clearly so you know what to fix. And because writing rules is itself work, you can ask the agent in chat to create one for you. Rules that error out fail open and flag themselves rather than silently blocking your team.

Also this week

  • Fixed: received emails that embed images in the body - signatures, screenshots, product shots - now render properly on the timeline, for both Gmail and Microsoft 365 accounts.
  • The import wizard now has agents fix invalid rows for you - coerced values are queued for your review, and system-managed columns are kept out of harm's way.
  • Meeting notes now appear on contact, company, and case views, including notes from past meetings in the record slideout.
  • Pipeline stage totals gained a weighted-amount option, and money totals on the board now convert currencies live instead of showing per-currency buckets.
  • Agents follow up smarter: when a meeting looks like a no-show, Ahoy asks what happened and offers to reschedule instead of writing notes for a meeting that never was.
  • The booking section on the meeting slideout has been redesigned, and long property values expand instead of truncating.
  • Under the hood: meeting timelines load dramatically faster.
