Agents that ask questions and cite their sources
Proposals can now carry the agent's clarifying questions and the web sources behind them - plus a do-not-track list that cleans up after itself and one-click replies from the timeline.
This week is about trust in what the agents prepare: asking when your input would change the outcome, and showing their sources when they've looked something up.
The agent asks before it acts
When an agent prepares a proposal and something genuinely matters to get right - which contact you meant, how firm to be in a follow-up, what to do with an edge case - it can now attach clarifying questions. Answer them right on the proposal and the agent refines its work with your answers folded in. Same principle as approvals: AI prepares the work, you bring the judgment. Now the agent can ask for that judgment a step earlier.
Proposals that cite their sources
Agents can now research on the web while preparing an action, and anything they use gets cited. Sources appear right on the proposal card, so when a draft leans on something from outside your CRM - a funding announcement, a job change, a company page - you can check the evidence before you approve. Agents research sparingly, only when it would actually improve the proposal.
Do-not-track, retroactively
The do-not-track list in Settings has always kept matching addresses and domains out of your email sync going forward. Now, when you add an entry, Ahoy also offers to clean up what it already synced - matching email threads and the contacts created from them - so a personal or sensitive correspondent can be removed properly, not just from here on out.
Also this week
- Received emails on the timeline now carry a Reply action - one click opens a reply on the right thread, from the right account, no hunting through your inbox first.
- Filtering by related records is one step now - fields like a contact's company industry appear directly in the filter picker, no digging through submenus.
- Full-page records keep getting sharper: a Notes & Reminders tab with due dates and an All/Notes/Reminders filter, add-note and add-reminder buttons, and quick actions to set lifecycle stage or start an email.
- Dashboard reminders can be dismissed once you're done with them, and the meeting notetaker now joins even when the meeting link is added at the last minute.
