Free Salesforce Audit
Salesforce orgs don't break. They accumulate. A custom field here, a consultant engagement there, and a few years later nobody can tell you what half of it does. It's a 45-minute call. You share your screen and walk us through the org, and we talk you through what's actually left: fields that are empty on almost every record, objects nothing has written to in a year, opportunities that went stale months ago, and licenses being paid for by people who never sign in.
It's free, the written summary is yours to keep, and if the org is in good shape we'll say so. Sessions are run by one of our founders, so availability is limited.
What we look at
Five areas, and each one gets a number against it instead of an adjective.
| Area | What we go through |
|---|---|
| Configuration sprawl | Custom fields that are empty on almost every record, custom objects nothing writes to any more, and page layouts carrying fields no one fills in. |
| Pipeline integrity | Opportunities with no next step, close dates already in the past, stages nothing moves through, and real stage-to-stage durations against what the process assumes. |
| Record hygiene | Duplicate accounts and contacts, records with no owner, and accounts with no activity in the last 90, 180, and 365 days. |
| Capture and adoption | How much meeting and email activity actually lands against records, which reps log and which do not, and how much of the pipeline is maintained by one person on a Friday. |
| License fit | Paid licenses against people who actually log in, and which license tier features are being paid for but not used. |
Worth being direct about the cost picture, because it isn't the same as HubSpot's. Almost nobody leaves Salesforce because the licenses are expensive. They leave because the licenses are only part of the spend. There's an admin, or an agency on retainer, or both, and a simple field change still takes weeks. This session puts a number on the configuration generating that work.
What you get
A written summary afterwards: what we found, what it's costing you, and what we'd address first. Share it with your team, pass it to your admin or implementation partner, or do nothing with it. There's no gate on it and no follow-up sequence.
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Book | Pick a slot. Around 45 minutes. |
| 2. Share your screen | You open Salesforce and walk us through it. Nothing to connect, no credentials to hand over, no managed package to install, and nobody's approval to wait on. |
| 3. We talk you through it | We know which reports, setup pages and field usage views hold the answers, so we point you at them and read the numbers with you as they come up. |
| 4. The conversation | You know why the org looks the way it does. That context, set against the numbers on screen, is usually where the value is. |
| 5. Summary | Written up and sent within a day. |
When this is not worth your time
You have a capable full-time admin. They already know everything this would surface, and their list will be better than ours.
The org went live recently. There isn't enough history in it yet for the numbers to say much.
Salesforce is load-bearing beyond sales. Service, CPQ or a heavily integrated back office change the question completely. Ahoy replaces a sales CRM, not a platform, and we'd sooner say that in the first ten minutes than the last.
You want someone to go in and fix it. That's an implementation partner. We can tell you what's in there. We don't take on Salesforce clean-up work.
Who we are
Ahoy is an AI-native CRM. It captures email, calls and meetings automatically instead of asking reps to log them, then prepares the next moves for one-tap approval. That's the product we sell, and it's the reason we're interested in what is sitting inside your Salesforce org.
The sessions are run by one of our founders. If they prove useful to enough teams, we'll bring more of the team into them.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Salesforce audit? A review of what your org has actually accumulated, with numbers against it: custom fields and objects nothing writes to any more, opportunities that died months ago, duplicate and unowned records, how much activity is really being captured, and licenses against who actually signs in. Ours runs 45 minutes and you get it written up afterwards.
How much does a Salesforce audit cost? Ours is free. Implementation partners charge for an org assessment because the assessment is how they sell the remediation project that follows. We don't do remediation work, so there's nothing to sell you into.
What access do you need? None. You share your screen and walk us through it on the call. We don't connect to your org, ask for credentials, or install a managed package, so there's nothing for your security team or your admin to approve.
Why do teams actually leave Salesforce? Rarely the license cost on its own. Usually it's everything around it: an admin or an agency retainer on top of the licenses, and simple changes still taking weeks because of what's built up in the org. The license is often the smaller half of the spend.
Is this a sales call? We build a CRM, so no, we're not neutral and won't pretend to be. The summary stands on its own, and "you're fine where you are" is a conclusion we're happy to reach.
